When I woke up this morning I heard Lincoln Brewster singing:

 "This is the day you have made; I will rejoice and be glad in it... Today is the day!"

Yes, it is!! Praise God! We're going to China!!

I got an email this morning that said,

Good Morning Families!

We received 4 Travel Approvals by fax this morning – and yours is one of them!  

WOO HOO!! 

Next step:

Our agency will request a Consulate Appointment with the US Embassy. Once that appointment is confirmed we book flights! We will likely leave either February 3rd or 10th.

I still haven't even gotten to talk to Shawn. He is in a meeting at work. I had to text him the news!
